Description

Based on the amazing design of @Josayajosh Lightsaber Keychain (Retractable). While printing this model I had a few breakages of the blade so I remixed the design to make the final piece of the blade solid. I split the pieces into separate plates to make cloning of the pieces easier.

Printed using Bambu PLA Basic - black, grey and Bambu PLA Silk - copper for the hilt. No supports but brim is used on the blades as part of the print profile

I printed a bunch. Excellent model! Had some layer adhesion issues unrelated to the model or profile with copper filament, but was easy superglue fix.

Yes, printed smoothly. Used PLA for most, only one color blade in PETG.

I think that this model has a bit more friction then necessary, but with the middle part of the blade scaled down to 97,5% and the small part scaled to 96% I found it works better
