Thank you so much for this model. one of my cat for some reason doesn't like the short fat springs, lbut looove the slim and tall ones. Only those are more difficult to find. with this I have finally an infinite supply. She is so happy. 🤩

I love this idea and execution! I have so many remnants of rolls that aren't enough for even a small print and finally have a worthwhile use! I've only tried PLA for the mold thus far PETG tomorrow, ABS once I get my P1S all set up also maybe tomorrow. printing out the slit version with 8 coils on my A1M as I type. he's got so many Temu springs, truly his favorite toy! he fetches and then jumps on his cat tree perch and either catches it with his paws or swats it back at me... can't wait to get a bigger place, I see kitty pingpong in his future! parametric maker world modeling done amazingly!

this is the greatest thing I've ever seen on this website! like it's so simple, but a total game changer. I found that PETG is fantastic to use, and I boil my water and put it in a thermos and do a few of these at a time, and they turn out wonderfully 💖

Printed fine. spring loosened a little during process. Only concern is if used as a cat toy, if cat swallows any broken ends as it seems brittle. Does soak hot/cold times have anything to do with how brittle? Im going to test this with actual leftover bailing wire to make metal springs. with the hole in the center, there may be a way to insert a metal rod somehow attached to a drill for speed similar to how garage door springs work? (any mechanics out there who know more on how to make this a multi-material spring maker?)
