Description

Check out my new 4th of July Glasses

This is a redesigned toothpick dispenser based on my award winning toothpick dispenser which uses only printed parts. https://makerworld.com/en/models/91900#profileId-98292
This new dispenser has several improvements and also it's mechanism is based on magnets instead of printed springs. A cleaner design and ready for heavy duty use.

This one will NOT replace the “printed spring” version, as that one has it's special appeal.

Features

*Magnetic mechanism for ejecting toothpicks. Four 10x3mm magnets are needed for this model.

*Print in place lid.

*Easy to assembly. (please check bellow for detailed pictures)

*There are two main models, one for toothpicks of max 66mm and one for max 81mm. (one profile for each)
Please be sure to measure your toothpicks and print the correct version. In my country the toothpicks are 65mm usually.

* Please shake the dispenser to arrange the toothpicks correctly and parallel. Throw away toothpicks that look too different than normal ones: damaged, askew.

* Please use my (designer) profiles, as I carefully set different setting for different parts, based on actual needs to make it work perfect and look good.

*One of the changes for example: 0.16mm layer height is very useful, at least for the toothpick recipient, for a smoother feeding path. I've tested 0.2mm layer height and you can get some rough surfaces there which will hinder the toothpick movement to the feeder. This change combined with different infill settings make a smoother surface where it needs it.

Updates

Based on user requests, I've added a customizable version (with max size 66mm). Please check profile “Max 66mm - CUSTOM Top Text”.
There is no details on the recipient top and you can customize the text that will be printed on the top recipient, where the user presses to get a toothpick.
To customize it, you have to right-click on the “CHANGE THIS TEXT”, select “EDIT Text” and the following screen will be displayed, where you can edit the actual text. (also font, size, thickness etc.)
You can also move this text as you wish.

*Added a new version for max 66mm toothpicks: blank one. The lid is blank without any model and also the pushing zone contains no logo/text. You can customize both as you please.

Assembly info:

*before connecting any part, be sure to insert the magnets in correct configuration. (to reject each other - top to bottom)

*please check the bellow image to have an idea how everything gets connected.

*The washer is to be used only if the toothpicks are not dispensed perfectly. You should add it only if you have issues with toothpicks being too thin or too thick (toothpicks are thrown away or are hard to pull out from the dispenser).
In case the toothpicks are thrown away, add the washer on the left arm.
In case the toothpicks are hard to take away, add the washer on the right arm.

*This washer increases/decreases the space for the toothpick holder.

*Please check the orientation of the left/right arms holding the base and toothpick recipient together.
