Description

Its a simple highly beveled fidget cube.

 

Hinge tolerance is low, and offers some resistance.

 

Cubes sit very flush with their neighbors.

 

Comes off the build place slightly fused. Needs to be broken in at first.

 

Tiny tiny supports for the bottom hinges. Not necessary for completion but the hinge will look better. Also very little time and materiel required.

I use glue on all of my build plates. My favourite is Elmers washable school glue, disappearing purple 

 

Beware: 3D printed things are not for small children. Some of the models have sharp edges or corners that can break the skin. Parts can break off and be swallowed. Smooth parts can break and become sharp. Please supervise small children while they play with 3D printed things.

I had high hopes for this one but two attempts and half the joints were fused together on both. The supports came off flawlessly so I don’t believe it was a calibration issue. I’ve printed at least a dozen different designs of these fidgets and this is the only one that didn’t break loose for me. I like the design but it was just a waste of filament for me.

its the concentric infills i bet change to gyroid and up teh walls

Sorry I didn’t notice this post! way to long😥 I haven’t seen that before I’ll print one and see if I can replicate the issue. Did you adjust where the colours change within Bambu studio? or did you print directly from the profile? or app?

Printed one for me and one for my daughter. We’ve both had a good time fiddling with them. prints both came out great and the supports were pretty easy to pull out.

Printed well. The supports came off easily. Moves great after a bit of breaking the joints in.
