Description

I designed this model as a way to flatten playing cards. I eventually realized that with a couple changes, this would become just a regular mini press. A couple hours later and a couple hundred grams of filament later, I created a fully 3d printed Mechanical Press.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Insert the threaded rod into the other blue part as shown in the image. It may be a bit tight, but I promise it gets looser the more you use it.
  2. Glue the handle (the green part as shown in the image) onto the threaded rod.
  3. Test fit the 3 parts on to the main body (the brown part as shown in the image). It should know look similar to the image (just missing the red part as shown in the image). If not, something went wrong. If it does look similar, continue onto step 4.
  4. Glue the red part onto the threaded rod (make sure that it is still screwed into the other blue piece as shown in the image).
  5. Glue that assembly to the main body (the brown part as shown in the image). Make sure not to add any glue onto the threaded rod.
  6. Complete. You now have a Fully 3d Printed Mechanical Press.
