VKB STECS Throttle Adapter for J-PEIN (or similar) HOTAS Desk Mounts

This adapter shifts the rear mounting point back 60-100mm to let the STECS throttle to fit on J-PEIN desk mounts. This is using the bar-type brackets on the J-PEIN, but should fit any similar bracket. Note that this is for the earlier J-PEIN design, I can't find any dimensional info for the 2023+ version but I've included the Solidworks files for easy modifications. The front mount uses the STECS mounting holes with 110mm hole spacing, the rear does as well along with 165mm hole spacing to mount to the bracket.

The 60mm rear mount allows plenty of room to access controls at the front of the throttle at 100%, but I've included 80mm and 100mm offsets as well. I have the STECS Standard, but this should fit all other variants.

Hardware Required

• (6) M5x16mm Countersunk Screws (2 M5x12mm can be used for the rear mount if you have those on hand)
• (6) M5 Nuts
• (4) M5 Washers for where it mounts to the brackets (may not be required with different brackets)

Printing

Default profile is 0.16mm layers, 4 walls, and 20% infill. You can likely get away with fewer walls and less infill, the desk mount flexes far more than the adapters ever will. Layer height could also be increased, 0.16mm is just my standard.
