Description

Garmin replacement insert.
For printing you must load the infill through the perimeters to optimize its rigidity and the supports must be adjusted to facilitate their removal.

A superbly crafted model, assembled flawlessly and printed exceptionally quickly. I printed mine with PETG for durability:)

Worked great, bumped up the infill density to 40% and used PLA support material for the first print.

The infill is done by the perimeters and the top/bottom on small part like this ;) For PLA support I had problems with layer adhesion due to insufficient purging, wich is why I do not use it in the profile

Works great. I used it with the following mount. I just added a spacer between them. https://makerworld.com/fr/models/76116-garmin-edge-1030-bike-mount-fahrrad-halterung

what does infill through perimeters mean?

This means that increasing the filling density is unnecessary. With enough perimeter, there’s simply no space left for more filling.

thank you. that makes sense now. I was more focused on making the supports easier to remove than anything else.
