Real human spinal vertebra - from CT scan
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a genuine, life-sized model of one of my vertebrae - one of the top lumbar vertebrae from an adult male, aged approximately 26.
Specifically, it was created from an abdominal CT scan I had done in 2014. I segmented the bone from the CT scan and extracted one of my vertebra.
It prints well with some support on the bottom side, and works well as a biological teaching tool, as a fun print to show to people (ask them to guess what it is!) and even as a fidget spinner.
You may also be interested in my pelvis model, from the same CT scan.

This model took quite a while to create from my raw CT scan data. If you like it then please consider giving me a boost - it'll help me purchase more filament and design more models.
