Description
This avionics bay is designed for a 54mm diameter body tube, with a total length of 200mm (7.87 inches). It is specifically designed to fit the Fluctus flight computer. All parts are 3D-printable and have been tested. For the best results, use an infill percentage between 60% and 90% when printing. All the components are held in place by using the M4 nuts.
In addition to the printed parts, you will need the following extra supplies:
- 2x M4 threaded rods (200mm in length) (Metal is preferable)
- 12x M4 screws (16mm in length)
- 12x M4 nuts
- 4x M2 screws (for attaching the Fluctus flight computer)
The bulkhead face has four holes: the two outer larger holes are for inserting the threaded rods, while the two inner holes (2.5mm diameter) are for running wires for igniters. The plate at the end is designed for mounting batteries and switches.
I have provided the .f3d file for each component if you want to customize it according to your needs.
