Description
This case for QMX/ QCX mini integrates a log tray for SOTA/ POTA activations. It protects the transceiver during transport and can be used as a tilt stand during activation.
The log tray is designed to be used with KH1 log sheets, which are downloadable at https://elecraft.com/products/kh1-f
The front face of the lid can be customized with a callsign etc. In the provided model it is kept clean.
During the assembly the four hooks need to be pressed into the holes. The fit is pretty tight, so some force must be applied (when fit, they should be 0.5 mm below the height of the back stop).
Test prints were conducted with PLA as well as PETG. Due to the outdoor use an UV stabilized material like PETG is preferable.
