Thank you! Don’t worry about it not holding the weight, I printed mine out of PLA and it held my weight.

thanks for that reply. I’m about to start printing a few of these for a Olympic bar, a curl bar, and my lay pulldown bar and was worried about the same thing.

What was the print profile? Included 15%?

This print is amazing thank you!! I also created a lower part with the same footprint, to stop it damaging the wall/barbell when it swings back into place

Nice can you drop that lower part in the studio? I need it as well. Please and thank you 🙏

I just printed it in PETG with 75% infill. Seems sturdy. I can't wait to see if it still there tomorrow! Only criticism would be I'd like to see the upper holes aligned vertically too, or at least offset that it can hit the same wall stud. Maybe 1.5" to the left and right, but aligned at a 30 degree angle to toe nail the screw.

Exceptional level of detail A problem arose when removing the supports, resulting in a less-than-perfect surface finish Perhaps altering the orientation would yield a superior surface finish Nevertheless, it is an excellent piece, rigid and functional

Printed mine on its back with 0.4mm nozzle, 3 walls and 20% fill but it flexes with any slight movements on both axes, side to side and front to back with a standard 44lb barbell. To use the holes on either side at the top, I used a bit to get an angle into the stud. I think another hole in the center top would be ideal for all 3 anchors into the stud. On the next one, think I'll do more infill and ideally look at added fillets to the underside of the shelf for more support. Ideally to print one for a 52lb trap bar. Has anyone broken a hanger yet?

Great design, the print turned out great! Very clean edges and lines. Now to hang and and see how it performs. You should think of adding a higher front edge or hook to prevent kids from pulling the bar off but the recess for the bushings probably will handle that. printed on P2S with Overture PETG.
