Bring a little piece of Aotearoa into your wharē! The kiwi is a native, flightless bird in New Zealand and this wiggly version is set to come into your home.
There are print profiles for an AMS-compatible coloured version and a single-colour version.
Behind the model
I sculpted and coloured this model in Nomad3D.
The printed models used eSun PLA+ in Brown. Light Brown, Black and White.
Printing tips:
I recommend adding supports under the beak. These supports are pre-painted in the 3MF file.
If using PLA in an enclosure, keep the door open to help with cooling.
It’s possible the pieces may stick slightly when printed. If this happens to you, press them firmly into each other to break any loose attachments.
If printing the multicoloured versions, make sure your flush volumes are fine-tuned.
