Nice File/Tool... Much prefer a Marking Knife or razor.. This makes long marks pretty simple.. Thanks for Sharing.. 
I don't think the razor blades are perfectly sized.. A new set I had didn't work (Point a little too long), but, some old ones (never used) fit fine..  I think they were name brand. The others, China brand.. Boosted.. Thanks..

Nice Marking Gauge.. Printing the 6 inch part now.. Had to nip off the other point on one side to get it to fit.. I don't think these blades are all the exact same size...

The major benefit is that you cut the fibers before your cut with your saw which helps prevent tear out!
