Description

Update: The lid rails on the box on the original design are a weak point prone to layer breaking along the layer line, especially on silk and similar filaments. I have added an additional .stl file where the thickness of this section has been doubled, and the picture separating combs have been lowered. It might be a little less convenient to insert pictures into these side slots, but the design flaw should be resolved now. The outside dimensions remain the same, so the same lid fits both designs.

This is a box that fits 10 Fujifilm instax square film pictures (62x62 mm actual photograph, 72x86 mm paper).

The size of the complete box is 78x33.5x93.5 mm (L-W-H)

This is mainly designed as a container to put freshly taken pictures into so they do not get creased or damaged in a backpack or pocket.

The sliding lid is secure and will not fall off, and it also allows the box to be easily opened with one hand without the lid being too tight.

The print was tested using Bambu PLA Basic, Silk, and Galaxy.

I recommend printing it on a smooth plate and not a textured one to ensure all surfaces look the same. If you want to use the textured plate, consider re-orienting the lid or using a raft to avoid the front-facing face being visibly textured.

Normal supports set to snug ensure there are no problems with the small overhang on the box.
