Print Settings (Crucial for Strength!)
- Material: PETG or ASA/ABS. Warning: Do not use standard PLA for heavy pots! It will deform over time (creep) and fail.
- Walls: 3-4 perimeters (Strength comes from walls, not infill).
- Infill: 15-20% Gyroid.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm standard.
- Orientation: Print on its side for maximum layer adhesion strength (the hook shouldn't rely on layer bonding for the main load).
Installation
- Designed for standard wall screws.
- Use drywall anchors if mounting into plasterboard!
QUICK TIPS
- Material: Matte PETG looks fantastic and hides layer lines, giving it a "purchased" look.
- Test: Hang a water jug of similar weight for 24h before trusting it with your favorite Monstera.
- Safety: If printing in PLA anyway, prioritize "PLA+" or "Tough PLA" and use more walls (5+), but check it regularly for bending.
