Pixel Pineapple Fidget (2 sizes)

These Pixel Pineapples are the second in my “Fruit Fidgets” collection 🍍🍉🍐🍊

They come in two sizes and print in two parts: the pineapple body and the pineapple crown. The pineapple body comes in a large and small size. There is only one size crown (it fits both sizes of pineapples).

Dimensions of Small Pineapple (assembled): 3 ¾ in x 1 ¾ in x 1 ¼ in.

Dimensions of Large Pineapple (assembled): 4 ¼ in. X 2 ¼ in. x 1 ½ in.

Basic PLA is the best for this print. I don’t usually make recommendations on types of PLA but I don’t recommend PLA Silk or PLA Matte filaments for this print. It is very detailed (on the inside) and the tolerances are small. I printed several of these in these three types of filaments and Basic PLA always printed the best and had smoother “movement” when done.

Layer Height 0.2mm

Infill 10-15%

Supports needed under the ‘peg’ that the crown fits on to

Outside brim recommended for the pineapple bodies

Print Plate #1: Small Pineapple body (1 color, yellow), supports added for ‘peg’, outside brim

Print Plate #2: Big Pineapple body (1 color, yellow), supports added for ‘peg’, outside brim

Print Plate #3: Pineapple crown (1 color, green)

To assemble place the pineapple crown over the peg of the pineapple body. You can add some super glue if you'd like:)
