UPDATE!!!!: NEW PROFILE ADDED!

A1 Mini Profile Added!!

This update is for different door direction, BE CAREFUL which profile you are downloading!!!!!

This Door Stopper is to control the door be opened in a certain angle. The door won't be closed neither be opened widely. The initial purpose is to let my cat enter the room but not my dog (she will eat cat litter!). This can also be used for keeping your kids away from a certain area.

The length of Stopper can be adjustable based on your cat size.

PETG will be a better material for this design, as it is more flexiable.

Let me know your experience, and comment below, let's make it better!

TIPS: Use a double tape between the part and door will help it more stable and stronger!

wow that's a nice print! Will absolutely consider your feedback and that is valuable! Also I use PETG for the hooker part cause I realize PLA is a little brittle, PETG will hold it for sure :)

This is exactly what I need! Two 8 month old Alaskan Malamutes and two rather old kitties in the house right now can be a little chaotic. The girls have gotten big enough that they can push the weight and door open without an issue and the kitties are not happy with me. Thank you for creating such a useful thing, I will be printing this today! I printed the original and realized the wrap around arm was too short for my trim (smooth, wide trim) so I made a longer arm that wraps around the face of the trim and grabs the side of it. With two malamute puppies always following my cats, this give the cats a safe place to go. Thank you so much for this print, it's going to make my kitties much happier and less stressed!

Haha similar situation with me! Glad this can help people like us! Be careful about the direction, i uploaded two profile of different direction, cause door might be installed in different way, take a look of the update in my description. Enjoy your print and hope ur furry friends will be happy then!

Printed the hook and screws in ABS and the rest in PLA and it works perfectly.

what an awesome invention. unfortunately it doesnt work with my situation.. make sure to check for something like this before you print it. i tried redesigning the door attachment so i could have it hook up towards the ceiling but it didnt really work. prints great and would be perfect if my door frame was built different!
