Update 29/12/2024:
All additional hardware required for the RC model has been moved to the Maker's Supply section. This means some components used has been updated in the building instructions. The full list of replaced parts is listed below.
- 608zz bearings → 608zz Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings (EA027)
- M2 x 10 Phillips head screw → M2x10 BHCS Machine Screw (AA164)
A 1:25 scale replica of the revamped Countach from 2022. I designed 2 variants of this model, one being remote controlled and the other being static and for display only. You can print the body in any colour but I think white or orange looks the best. All other parts can be printed in black PLA. Building instructions for both variants can be downloaded in the files section.
The static variant includes all the details of the RC variant. However all the parts can be printed and you will not need any additional hardware apart from a few drops of superglue.
The RC variant is quite challenging to make and I would highly recommend getting yourself familiar with Arduino and electronics first before attempting it. You would also need a soldering iron since many of the parts need to be soldered to reduce space. I have also developed a simple Android app for the remote controller as well as a simple Arduino code for the RC unit. The APK and INO files can be downloaded below.
