Description

I wanted a 3D printable Korg Volca stand that can hold 3 volcas specifically because I've seen a bunch of wooden ones, but hardly enough 3D printed ones with these kinds of angles. So I started making one from scratch using some of the angles the wooden ones typically use 15, 45, -15. I needed to break down the segments to fit them on the bed and I made a notch to prevent them from shifting, but it still needs hardware to hold it all together. I was just using some leftover 5mm screws laying around to attach the segments from top to bottom. But I still needed a threaded rod to cut down to size with some nuts to hold each side snuggly to the volcas so they don't move. I think it was ¼"-20 roughly 9.-9.5" in length. The cross supports that that providing backing and stability, two of them are basic, but the middle one I designed a cubby for my passive mixer. Pretty snug fit for my MyVolts MickXer.

The stand printed nicely, I opted to use gorilla glue instead of bolts and it's pretty solid. looks great in purple too!

Thank you for the print files. Works wonderfully for me as a 2x2 stand with the option of expansion. I glued all the parts together with good adhesive. Holds wonderfully and looks great too. A K&M clip light can also be easily attached in the middle. Closed side panels that could be glued onto the frame would be great, for example to add some color and to hide the cables from the side. Thank you!

Mine is coming along really well so far. This is a great design. One modification would be to add a drop in slot for a 1/4-20 square nuts in the support sides rather than using all-thread for the entire length. Then you could use 6 short bolts and it would flat pack cheaply. I used #8 bolts, 1/2” long for the side connections.

I love it. Perfectly snug and secure fit. Im working with limited space nowadays and because of this print I am able to revive my Volca trio back into my station. Thank you Creator! I went overboard at Ace Hardware and opted for brass fishing. Its a super clean touch that pictures fail to capture. Only slight downside that I didn't think through was the inability to utilize deck savers but still a 10/10 for me.

Such a well designed model, thank you for sharing. I ony wanted to print something for 2 volca, and your design makes that trivial, something I appreciate! The fit is absolutely perfect — I just got my bambu printer, upgrading from an ender 3 v3 ke, and seeing the quality of models on this platform + the upgrade in print quality is really impressive. If I may, I tiny request would be to add little gaps at the bottom to add small rubber feet to keep it from sliding :)
