Exhaust System with Shut Off Valve for Dry Walls
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello. I've designed a very effective and practical ventilation system for my X1C and P1S that allows me to redirect the printer ABS exhaust fumes to the attic or to the printer room without having to unplug the hose from the back of the computer.
As you can see in the cross-section below, switching the valve can send the fumes to the inside of the room, an adjacent room, or an attic by redirecting the air to the outside or keeping it inside. I like that when the valve is set to the inside, the humidity is kept outside of the room when the printer is not in use, or not printing ABS.

Installation
I use a 3-inch hose that comes with 2 clamps to fix it to the prints, and I use a double-sided nano tape to attach the elbow to the back of the printer. I prefer the tape because it is simple and keeps the connection airtight.

Another advantage of the system is that the valve snaps into place at the wall, making it easy to disconnect it if the printer needs maintenance.
To install the threaded tube connector through the drywall, I use a 3 ½" Hole Saw below:

I have read a lot about the it printer air force and how it is not strong enough, so I decided to take the carbon filter out (sorry, Earth) because it is very noticeable how the flow is too low with it, even without my ventilation system. I also created special X1C and P1S profiles to control how much ventilation is used and when. I recommend reading the link below on how to modify your profiles:

This is how it looks on my Bambu Studio:

Printing
My preferred material for the system is ABS, and the print profile is customized to have supports and brims for each part. It can also be printed with PLA or PETG; the brims are unnecessary for these materials.

Thanks for printing!!!
