Took 4th in the Pinewood Derby.....took lots of TLC to get the wheels just right and sanding the wheel wells (very tight tolerances) to allow the wheels to freely spin

For actual derby cars:.4 or .2mm nozzle, smallest layer height, 2-3 top/side layers, a couple more top layers to keep the top clean, and lightning infill should keep it as light as possible so more weight can be added above the rear axle&nbsp;For anything else:also smallest layer height, there are thin sections that might get ignored otherwise&nbsp;Either:Traditional supports do a good job here, the underside has a flat pocket to accept the wood and axles, more interface layers should make that cleaner

A pinewood derby shell reminiscent of a Porsche 935 whale tail… sort of.&nbsp;Modeled from scratch, uses a cut down “Maximum Velocity” pinewood derby kit. I assume others would work as well, axle locations should be standard as well as wheel diameter. My work put a derby on and the rules were pretty lax; Just had to “use the included wood” and retain axle locations.&nbsp;I&#39;ve included a STEP file so you can modify for additional weight if you actually want to win.
