Description

Major Update

2026-04-19: Released version 4.0: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2685125-modular-pistol-rack-v4#profileId-2974425

2025-02-10: thanks everyone for supporting this model. I've just uploaded a new version that is easier to print and still has some of the features of this model. Check it out: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1093160#profileId-1087064

Yes, it is way over engineered, but that's the fun of 3D printing as a hobby. I created this model with very specific goals in mind.

  • Barrels should be close to horizontal
  • Rest with no magazines inserted
  • Stand upright, being firm and steady
  • Spaced far enough apart to allow me to slide my fat hands in to grip the pistol fully during removal
  • Require zero additional hardware
  • Modular so more can be added as the collection grows

Center tower block is made to fit each model of pistol and can be swapped easily. I made this piece separate so the labels could be colored and lay flat on the print bed.

Enjoy!

Update 1:

Uploaded the Fusion 360 design files. It is parametric for the major dimensions. I'm not a pro 3D modeler and have learned this all on my own so please be forgiving of the mess of a timeline in the design process.

Update 2:

Added a new bottom plate to accommodate larger pistols/revolvers and a new topper for my 357 Magnum.

Update 3:

Added a couple requested toppers: Glock 17, AAP-01. I did not update the print profile so just download the STL file.

Update 4 (9/2/2024):

Added another print profile for a smaller model that is only 225mm long. Arranged the profiles to allow both sides to print on the same plate. Added a topper for a Sig P365XL. Added some half bowties that be put on the ends. There is one with a small slot so they can be easily removed.

Update 5 (9/4/2024):

Sincerest apologies for a misaligned bottom plate on the 5-inch model. Updated the print profile and the STL file to resolve.

Update 6 (11/12/2024):

Added new toppers for additional Sig P365 X-Macro variants. Look in the file download section for the STLs. Also added the Sig P320 Flux Raider Legion to the stable.
