Description

Only the mounting points were copied from the Doc Taylor's model. The entire base is new, fitted closer to the actual base profile of the M575, with a simpler solid shape because I didn't like the honeycomb-with-branch thing the original had. I also integrated storage for the mouse's two accessories, the wireless dongle and the original battery cover. The other models I've seen neglect to have a space where they can be stored to not lose them. In losing the cantilever design it also makes this model easier to print, without a potentially ugly-looking underside to the main platform.

You probably want to cut out some foam or other grippy material to go onto the underside of the base in contact with the table, both to protect the surface and stop the mouse from sliding around with use.

It makes the entire mouse almost vertical, hoping to improve wrist discomfort, great

Thank you, this turned out great! Some feedback: It was a little difficult to equip the first time around. The bit that inserts into the device was a bit difficult to go in. You can see in the photo where it left grooves. Not bad though as I think it helps it stick and not move around. Love how you added space for the dongle and the battery lid. Would be cool if you etched little feet grooves similar to the mouse itself, ha! Overall I love it, will be printing more for my other M575s.

It fits perfectly, and feels and looks amazing, added some rubber band on the underside to prevent it from slipping, thank you for sharing this!

Prints and fits good enough, maybe a little too tight and is difficult to remove. Too bad the switch and the button are unusable without removing the mouse from the base

In the m575s, the USB part did not fit, but it fit after removing the USB part
