The sarcomere is a crucial component of striated muscle tissue, serving as its smallest functional unit. This simplified model vividly captures a section of a sarcomere in action during muscle contraction.
The model was tested with PLA, but it is recommended to print the Troponin and Myosin Chain (Plate 3 in Print Profile) with TPU to visualize flexibility.
