Description

My trusted 160mm spring clamps from Biltema keep losing the jawprotector, from the maybe 30 of them that I have I think I am short around 20-30 jaw protectors. So instead of buying new ones, I made and printed a replacement. I made it as simple as I could and at the same time designing it to be 3D printer friendly. It has no overhangs, no tough angles and doesn't need support. Simple print.

See the original in blue and my replacement in red, in the attached photos.

I printed it on my PEI-sheet to get a textured contact surface, to improve grip. Printed about a dozen of them so far in Bambu Lab PETG HF. Maybe it will fit other spring clamps, but it's made specifically for the Biltema one (Biltema clamp). It needs a firm push to fit the clamp, which is how I want it, to minimise risk of it falling off again.

Well, that's it, hope it can come to use. If you print it, I would be happy to see a make! :)
