Description

A model of the MK110, 57mm Naval deck gun. Assembly is pretty self explanatory. There is an alignment pin for the barrel, and, there is a triangle shaped clocking key between the basering and main gun.

 

-TEST FIT THE GUN TO THE BASE RING BEFORE GLUING. IT IS CLOCKED IN A WAY THAT CAN RESULT IN THE GUN BEING OFF CENTER TO THE BASERING.-

Primary Function: Fully-automatic, naval gun mount.
Date Deployed: 2008 in both LCS and USCG WMSL classes
Range: 17,000 meters (9.1 nautical miles) with conventional ammunition.
Type Fire: 220 rounds per minute automatic, conventional ammunition.
Magazine Capacity: 120 rounds conventional.
Caliber: 57 mm 70 caliber MK 38 Mod 0 Barrel, barrel length of 3,990 mm (57 mm x 70)
Guidance System: Guidance System: MK 110 Gun Mount is remotely fired from the MK 160 Gun Computer System on USCG WMSL class and uses various Gun Computer systems on LCS class ships.
Platforms: MK 110 (57mm) all LCS and USCG WMSLs class (1 gun mount per ship)
