What would be REALLY nice would be if when separated, you could still easily identify either piece. That way you could store the pieced combined, but separate them and have two players worth of pieces. It would require modification of, at a minimum, the king, queen, and knight to make them easily identifiable when separated.

im with you. my first idea was to create separable pieces, than you can after separate, play both sides. unfortunately i make this version, and not "spare place"

I printed the second "heavy" set. On my first attempt I tried printing just inner then outer parts but that didn't work - the parts need each other for support. On my second attempt I used the printer's default speeds which worked fine for the smaller pieces, but the Kings and Queens had a number of failures. After watching the printing in real time, I tried slowing print speeds to approx 1/4 of default and they came out perfect! Great conversation pieces - Thank you for a fascinating model.

Super chess pieces. I am currently printing the entire set as a Christmas gift I think it turned out really well

Glad that this set is being used as a gift Since some have complained that either the walls are too thin or it cannot be divided and there were also requests to modify it a bit I am working on making set v2 Unfortunately it will take some time

At ur normal sice it`s good to print, but i made a little bit smaler to combain it with the Flexi chess tower from mimi home decorat. at this moment are the walls too smal and i need to tricks. but ther is my fail and not ur. it is realy easy to print. I print it in very slow. the two towers i printed in very crazy speed and its perfekt I Think i will print the Tower in 25cm Higth to, also the maximum printingsice of my P1P

Tolerance ist too small, to downscale. Upscale should be OK

this is what happened when I printed them. also the orange has like an extra layer on the bottom so I can't take them apart. I am new to printing. any advice is most appreciated.

It turned out well. I had problems with the King, the piece wasn't releasing and a part broke. The rest was fine
