Description

GT2 belts, which have a width of 6mm, are widely used in 3D printers and CNC machines. They work well with the popular GT2 pulleys.

You can use these DIY belts for projects that involve stepper motors or GT2 pulley systems that don't need high torque or speeds. Like this fish feeder project for example:

I have included various sizes, ranging from 70mm to 200mm in diameter.
Feel free to resize these belts on the Z-axis, if you need a different width.

These belts are meant to be printed with TPU filament: I tested with Overture High-Speed TPU 95A

I'll try to add these sizes soon. they might not fit on the plate as round shapes, so I'll need to test some other shapes.

Hey. I added a new profile with on demand sizes. I was not sure if you meant diameter or length of 240mm and 250mm, so I added both. For larger sizes I had to use a flower pattern to make sure it fits on a standard bed. Hope these are useful for your projects.

you could have a 2 color print for tpu and pla lines and then more tpu so that the pla is thin and flexible but not stretchy

That wouldn't work as tpu and pla don't bond together with enough strength. There's tpu you can buy that isn't stretchy, but still is quite flexible.

That's a personal project that involves an Esp32 microcontroller integrated with homeassistant for automated feeding schedule. More than 50% of the parts are taken from an old 3D printer. When I have some spare time, will work on recreating those parts and share the project here.
