Ducted Thruster with propeller for ROV and Boats
Print Profile(1)

Description
I recently designed and printer an Autonoumous Underwater Vehicle. This is the thruster I used on that. With ability to produce 3kg of thrust, this is an extensively tested thruster which can be easily made at the fraction of the cost of thruster availble in the market.
Items Required:
4X M3*8 bolts to mount the motor
4X M5 Square Nuts to insert in the duct for monting
1X M6 Hex Nut for placing in Nut.stl
Instructions:
Thruster uses DJI RS2212 930kv BLDC motor which you can get very easily.
Thruster works in the following direction:

First Print the Duct. Position it such that Flow-in side should be on the buildplate. Set support top contact distance to 0.3mm and print. Recommended layer height is 0.2mm with 0.4mm nozzle.
To mount the thruster on your vehcile M5 square nuts are to be inserted in the openings. Be careful to enable support on build plate only or slicer will add support structure inside the nut slots which is very difficult to remove.

Set support top z distance to 0.3mm and print. Recommended layer height is 0.2mm with 0.4mm nozzle
Next print propellers and the Nut.
You would need to sand the propellers until surface is completely smooth. I printed them in Petg, but a better option is to get them Resin printed in Nylon for maximum thrust and efficiency.
For Nut you would need to add pause print in the slicer so you place a M6 hex nut inside the print
