Description

This is a mini steering wheel meant to slide onto a GRS USB Button Hole Spinner (https://thunderstickstudio.com/products/usb-spinner) to be able to use the spinner in racing/driving games. It might fit over their other spinners but that is the only one I've used myself and can confirm.

I originally made this as add-on to my swappable control panels (https://makerworld.com/en/models/564829?from=search#profileId-484405) for use with an absolutely excellent Mini Arcade model (https://makerworld.com/en/models/94544?from=search#profileId-102047). It's really meant for something smaller than an actual full size cabinet.

This works very well in games like Super/Championship Sprint, Pole Position, etc. It also works for games like Out Run though you obviously won't have any feedback.

Couple things to consider:

  • This is meant to print without supports. The spokes can get a bit tricky so I set the slicer settings to slow down considerably once it starts that part. You shouldn't have any issues but if you do, slower is better!
  • The fit needs to be precise enough to slide over easily without spinning freely once it's on. To help with this, I have a “bump” that runs down the inner cylinder that slides over the spinner to try and catch onto one of the grooves on the spinner. This might need to be shaved down a bit if the fit is too tight.

Exactly what I needed to add to my converted Arcade1up replacement panel! Perfect fit, excellent print.

I Love it. Printed at 94.5% on my A1 Mini and the wheel fits the stock spinners on my Atgames Arcade Legends Ultimate v1.1. Thank you!
