"Flip It" Shampoo Bottle Cap (with tutorial)
Print Profile(1)

Description
READ THIS FIRST - The print profile I have provided uses an AMS. The model is printed in PLA and has PETG interface supports. If you do not have an AMS, this print profile will not work for you, so you'll have to download the STL files and setup your own supports! There are two parts to this print (3 if you include the TPU washer), that will need to be printed separately, and “snapped” together. The Cap requires no supports, but the Lid (with the legs) does require supports. If not using my profile, the threads do not require supports, so make sure only the bottom horizontal section of the lid has supports. Print with 6 walls so it prints solid, and 0.2 layer height is fine.
This model took inspiration from an actual product called “Flip It” (You can search for it on Amazon). Thread this onto your standard pump-style shampoo/conditioner bottle and it will allow you to stand it upside down so you can get every last drop (see pics). This might not work on all bottle sizes - the Major Diameter of the threads on the bottle are about 32mm (see pic below), which I believe are pretty standard on most “pump-top” shampoo bottles.

I have also created a TPU washer to place in the lid to keep anything leaking out the sides (see pics). It is not included in the print profile and will have to be downloaded as an STL. However, this does NOT MAKE IT WATER PROOF. This is made for shampoo or conditioner, which is lot more viscous and shouldn't leak out. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE LID OR YOU"LL CRACK IT. IT JUST NEEDS TO BE SNUG
If your bottle size is different, I have created a YouTube tutorial for you to follow along on how to make it. You can adjust the sizes to fit your bottle. I may add a Fusion360 file to the model so you can keep everything the same, but change your threads.
