Description

My Red Nissan Micra K11 - 3D Printable Model

I am excited to present to you my latest 3D printing project: a detailed and fully 3D printable model of a Nissan Micra K11, specifically in its iconic red color.

This model represents a labor of love, and I’ve put a great deal of effort into capturing the essence of this classic vehicle.

The Process

The journey to create this model began with the acquisition of a high-quality 3D scan of the Nissan Micra K11. The scan provided a precise starting point, capturing the unique curves and details of the car. Using advanced 3D modeling software, I carefully imported the scan into a slicer program, where I began the process of refining and optimizing the model for 3D printing.

One of the key aspects I focused on was ensuring that the model would be both aesthetically pleasing and easy to print. This meant making adjustments to the geometry to avoid overhangs and ensuring that all parts of the model were properly supported during the printing process. The goal was to create a model that not only looks great but also prints smoothly, with minimal post-processing required.

Adding Color

After the initial modeling was complete, I moved on to the coloring stage. The red Nissan Micra K11 holds a special place in the hearts of many car enthusiasts, and I wanted to capture that spirit in this 3D model. I spent considerable time selecting and applying the colors, along with other details like the windows, lights, and wheels, to make the model as realistic as possible.

The result is a vibrant, eye-catching model that faithfully reproduces the look of the original vehicle.

Whether you're a fan of classic cars, a Nissan enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates detailed 3D prints, I hope this model brings a bit of joy to your collection.

How to Print

This model is designed to be printed in a unique piece. I recommend using PLA or a similar material to achieve the best results.

The model has been designed with a focus on accessibility, so even if you’re new to 3D printing, you should be able to achieve great results with this print. I’ve also included a detailed guide with tips on the best print settings, including layer height, infill percentage, and print speed, to help you get the most out of your print.

Please take care of the little “antenna”; remove support carefully 😀

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who downloads and prints this model. Your interest and support mean the world to me, and it's incredibly rewarding to see others enjoy something that I’ve created. The 3D printing community is an amazing place, full of creativity and collaboration, and I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to it with this model.
