In my example I printed the dolphin in PLA and painted it by hand after coating it with a two-component epoxy resin to make it smooth and shiny.
The base is painted blue to represent the sea, while the dolphin is painted orange with white and blue accents, evoking the image of a dolphin leaping at sunset, bathed in warm, enchanting colours.
