Melody Masher, Circle of 5ths Tool
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is my first shared cad file, I hope you like.
The thing is a circle of 5ths tool. I'm master of none so leme see if I can explain the purpose:
…The circle of fifths outlines major keys and their relative minor root key; each quadrant also has triads in the same patterns (3 notes that make a chord); it can also be used in composing music to find chord progressions that harmonise.
I'll work on a simplified version without the need for screws and heat sets. I'll also work on adding more lettering or graphics on the front cover; maybe more info on how to use; maybe some number orders of common chord progressions. Let me know what you think, I'm learning this myself so give me some advice or suggestions please :)
The print has a slight gap at the centres of edges where the bearing axle shaft must be slightly too long. I will address this soon and update the file; a little sanding should fix it for now. I also think I will remove some volume from the wheel to make it a quicker and more efficent print.
The wheel can be printed without colour changing ability using raised lettering (you could colour on top with paint or texta).
If printing without multicolour: be sure to use the .stl files; for the cover peice, select ‘5thCircleCoverEmbossed.stl’.
PRINTING FROM .STL:
Print the base peice bottom side down with supports on the counter bore holes for hex screw heads.
Print the wheel face up.
Print the Cover peice with the window face down.
