Description

Jar Vacuum Releaser

WARNING: DO NOT PRINT IN PETG OR OTHER PLASTICS WITH LOW LAYER ADHESION

Is the jar lid tight? Release the vacuum.

This model is a good aid for those with osteoarthritis/arthritis or elderly people who have problems opening jars.

Print this model like this or use my print profile:

  • Print in PLA Tough + for high stiffness. PETG is not suitable because its low stiffness and low layer adhesion
  • Top, bottom and wall thickness, at least 5 layers
  • Use normal support
  • 17% cross hatch infill

Feel free to try my new jar opener!

do it the Asian way just grab a knife and stick the part that I circled into the lid and it releases the vacuum and you don’t even get your knife dirty

I flip the knife over so I don't dull the blade lol

Replying to @user_247566801 :
90% or as solid as I could get it, works really well now in PLA
