Description

Spice up your holiday decorations with these festive presents. The model was created to allow for the individual components to be printed separately. No AMS needed. The main ribbon slides right into the box and the remaining components stack ontop followed by the ball/pin to hold everything together. The Ball/pin included in the print profile is tight and requires a little force to snap into place. If the tolerance is too tight, a second looser version is on the build plate that can be used with superglue to hold everything together. Happy Holidays!

Currently Printing at 410% Scale, 2 walls on everything, 0.24mm layer height (0.6mm Nozzle). By printing the main box using 15% Lightning infill, it brought the main box print time down from 24+hours to 11.5 hours. I'll post results when it's finished! Thanks for the file!

Im really interested to see how it turns out. Please post the results and if scaling up the model messes anything up let me know and I'll post a correctly modeled version for that size!

Turned out really great! The ribbon around the box is a little loose and has gaps, but nothing that most people would notice. My wife and daughter love it and I plan on printing one or more ever year. Lightning infill saved a huge amount of time. I highly recommend it for one that's this large.

I rated this a while ago, but I just wanted to drop a comment. I love this box. I print the whole box on one plate 2-4 times in different colors and then mix and match the pieces. I can't stop printing these things 😁
