Description

Supports 1kg, 3kg, and 5kg spools with a flexible hanger system that allows you to quickly swap spools of any size. The spool adapters can be combined to accommodate most standard spool sizes and the hangers use ball bearings to ensure smooth operation. The hangers can fit any pole up to 1" in diameter and are permanently mounted to prevent any unwanted slip offs but big enough to easily slide around for ease of use.

Additional required hardware:

  • 8 x 5x14mm ball bearings (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FDTC4BX)
  • 4 x M5x25mm hex socket bolts for hangers (https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-M5x25mm-Stainless-Socket-Screws/dp/B01850AZZG)
  • 4 x M5x35mm hex socket bolts for spool adapters (https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-M5x35mm-Thread-Stainless-Socket/dp/B01MEHMVVP)
  • 8 x M5 nuts (standard or lock nuts)

I made some fixture brackets as a mounting option rather than pipe if your interested. it worked quite well as a 5k spool holder as seen in photo, along with the one hung in the background

really nice design! Unfortunately it uses the not so common 5x14 bearings... Do you think you could make a version for the more common 608 (8x22x7) bearings?
