Description

I have built this small part for the Flightory Lark printable RC UAV.

The original part is just a cover, but this would require me to glue the servo to the wing, which I'm not a big fan of.

The part is compatible with the Corona Servo DS-939MG, but it should also be compatible with any of the 9X9 Corona servos, such as DS-919, DS-929, etc.…, as they have the same dimensions.

I have printed it in ASA Aero (LW-ASA), PLA, and PETG. The LW-ASA weighs just under 3 grams but is a bit more flexible than the other materials. No support is needed.

ASA Aero Note:

  • MakerWorld does not allow me to upload custom filament settings. For this reason, I have added pictures of my Bambu ASA Aero filament in the print profile. This removes any retraction and sets the flow to 0.6.
  • For the Process, you will see that the ASA Aero is quite different from the Standard one. It's much slower and has a brim to prevent warping.
  • If you have already printed with LW filament, you know it's better to print one model per plate at a time.

If you're interested in the Plane, the Lark RC FPV Plane plan can be found here: https://flightory.com/product/lark/.
