The Fly Annihilator (Extendable Fly Swatter)
Print Profile(2)

Description
I wanted a fly swatter, but I got tired of how bulky and time-consuming they were to print on my A1 mini. My goal was to make a lightweight, and effective flyswatter that can be printed on a single A1 mini plate.
I present to you: The Fly Annihilator! (See updates at the bottom)

This beauty only weighs 36g, and prints in just 2 hours! I compared this to the next most popular one I saw, and had previously printed, which was over 50 grams. The method of assembly was bulky and needed me to use a lighter, not a good thing to encourage for me :). The trick to this model was figuring out how to get the full length of a fly swatter, which I solved by making it extendable.
At full length, The Fly Annihilator is 17" (43.18 cm). But it can retract to 11.7" (30 cm), to fit in your kitchen junk drawer, or wherever you keep your fly swatter. After assembly, be gentle when extending or retracting the swatter for the first few go's, it takes a little breaking in. But as you can see in the pictures, it can bend quite well despite the extension aspect.
I wanted every fly to know when you're using this swatter, that they are going to get gone. Hence the giant fly pattern on the swatter, that way all flies know they are not safe in your house (evil laugh).
The best part about this was learning how to utilize the g-code and 3D-printing methods to create a large enough overhand for the swatter head to connect to the neck. So please do not change the g-code/printing style when printing. As a freshly graduated engineer, I hope you appreciate the thought that went into this, and please leave comments on improvements or other ideas!
Update 1: I updated the print profile because the extension base was structurally unsound. As an engineer I couldn't let that pass, and now, it prints in just 2 hours! instead of 3 :).
Update 2: I added a simplified version of the model, as I saw some people saying they broke the print in certain areas. This is available as a second profile, which has no embossed lettering and diamonds on the handle. It takes a little breaking in just like the other version.
