Description

Introduction

Are you learning to drive in the UK or any other country with the legal requirement to display an L-plate?

If so, then do I have something wonderful for you?

Solution

This is a fully U.K. government-compliant L-plate, or “learner's plate” in full.

It is 1mm thick, which makes it sturdy, but, not flexible, it is designed to be attached to the inside of car windows or by using cable ties you can attach it to suitable places on the exterior of a car.

This is NOT a replacement for flexible magnetic versions that are available for sale.

Optional uses

  • Use the suction cups to attach it to your fridge or that of your family or friends
  • Place it on the outside of a bedroom door to bring joy (ridicule) to the occupant(s)

Specifications

  • Fully compliant size required by the UK government
  • 178x178x1mm
  • Two holes (one at the top, one at the bottom) for suction cups or cable ties
  • Two colour AMS print profiles
  • Also prints on the A1 mini (†) - Use the All Printers profile unless you have an A1 mini

Optional Hardware

Filaments Used

  • Bambu Lab PLA Basic Red
  • Bambu Lab PLA Basic White

When printing on the A1 mini, there is insufficient space for a wipe tower, this might result in a slight degradation in quality.
