Description

I started with the base design from Martin. Brought in the changes @Spradlinb did for electronics. Wall mounts scaled to the correct size from Spradlinb as well. I modified the code slightly to work with the size I printed at. There are some additional changes I want to do, such as implement the wifi chip that is on the control board for Alexa integration to do what the button presses do.

Forked Spradlinb's git to https://github.com/Twistys/Stargate_3D for the larger stargate size. Board to select is “NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)”. Need to add https://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json into additional board manager URLs under preferences. Used Polymaker Starlight Mercury for the main color and Bambu Silver for the symbols. Plate 33 is a color tester to see how you like the colors you decided upon.

Note:

The small pegs for the chevrons are tight, I used a hammer to get them into place.

M3 x 16mm bolts are required for the wall mount. Since the original model called for M3 bolts and had a slot for them. Scaling the pieces up to 113% made the slots slightly too big. 3d printed nuts are provided for these slots. Strongly advise the gray wall mount and nuts to be printed in PETG.
