Message Launcher v1

Who doesn't remember the school days when we used to secretly pass notes on paper? Here is the cool and modern version of that! the Secret Message Launcher! Depending on the spring you use, the launcher has a range of 4-6 meters. With the special arrow, you can deliver a message.

It doesn't hurt when you get hit, but you should still be careful not to aim at the face, as it can be dangerous for the eyes!

Safety warning

This model is a low-power mechanical toy launcher.

Do not aim or shoot at people, animals, faces, eyes, windows, vehicles, or fragile objects. Even if the impact may seem minor, a small projectile can still cause injury, especially if it hits the eye. Wearing eye protection is strongly recommended.

Scaling, reinforcing, or modifying the model may cause malfunctions, breakage, or unsafe behavior and is not supported.

This model is not a firearm, not a firearm part, and is not compatible with real firearms or real ammunition.
 

Montage

The assembly is straightforward and almost self-explanatory. However, there are a few points to watch out for to ensure everything works properly.

The launcher can be equipped with three different springs, with the BB007 showing the best performance! 

• BB004: 0.5 x 5 x 25 mm
• BB007: 0.5 x 5 x 20 mm
• Random Pen: 0.45 x 5 x 19 mm
   

For the BB004, I made a different end piece, which can be found on the plate labeled BB004 5x5x25mm.

I used a spring with the dimensions 0.45 x 5 x 19 mm from a cheap pen!  Otherwise, you can simply take apart any pen, as I did.

The two hinges are secured with some filament.

 

Once you have assembled all the parts correctly, you should secure the end piece with some super glue. Otherwise, the end piece may fly off when you stretch the spring!
