Description

This headphone holder was designed to fit perfectly on the rack of my Roland TD-17 but should fit any rack tube measuring 40mm.

The clip prints seperately, just add some super glue and you're ready to rock. The headphone holder itself needs supports on the back plate for the recess that fits the clip. The ledge of the hook does not need support but print with variable layer height and activate Adaptive with the Quality/Speed slider slid all the way toward Quality. To add the color you want to the holder, just edit the “color” object. Prints in just 3 filament changes! I also turned on ironing on the color object for a finer finish.

I printed the holder body in a matte PLA but it is too brittle to print in matte for the clip. Regular PLA seems to work fine for the clip but you could always try something stronger.

if you like this, check out my holder for Shokz headphones and large drum stick holder for electric drum kits!

I will also be posting a version of this headphone holder that utilizes Command strips instead of a clip.
