Description
This is a project I have been working on for the past 3 months. It is the biggest thing I have ever designed, and took hours upon hours of work.
I hope you enjoy!
Description:
This helmet is from the book and movie series (2020-2024) Dune, which is one of the all time bestselling and greatest sci-fi epics in history. it centers around a planet known as Arrakis (aka Dune) which creates a very valuable material known as melange/spice. It is what has propelled the humanity of the future to interstellar travel, because guild navigators use it to give themselves prescient abilities. The planet was owned by the Harkonnens for a long time, where they mistreated the native Fremen and gouged the spice out of the planet. Eventually, the planet was relinquished to the House Atredies. Anyways, essentially the Harkonnens are the bad guys in the movies and books. They are pale, sometimes noseless humans who are decent fighters. They use these helmets to navigate through the harsh conditions of Arrakis, so they don't breathe in or get addicted to the melange.

THIS IS STILL IN BETA; THINGS MAY CHANGE AND LET ME KNOW ABOUT ANY ISSUES
THE HELMET IN SLICER IS MY SIZE, BUT PLEASE USE BASE FILES TO SIZE THE HELMET TO YOUR NEEDS
Tools:
Superglue: Absolutely necessary, needed for gluing helmet together
Sandpaper: Use if the tolerances are too tight for you, especially the earpiece to helmet slot
3d Pen: Used for touchups and general filling
Assembly:
Step 1: Take both earpieces and slot them into the back (may need sanding; you want it as tight as possible) and glue them in
Step 2: Take the top part of the visor and superglue it to the tabs on back and earpieces
Step 3: Take the bottom of the visor and superglue it to earpieces and the top of the visor (Try not to show superglue, as it will leave white marks, and remove the brim so there is no outcroppings on the smooth visor)
Step 4: Slot and superglue the respirator set together
Step 5: Superglue the respirator to the middle-bottom of the visor (the respirator should have a ledge to hold to the bottom of the visor)
Step 6: Slot in the side pieces to their designated slot on the earpieces and superglue it
Step 7: YOUR DONE!
