Description
I designed this bookend showcasing a model of a 40mm M430A1 HEDP (high-explosive dual-purpose) grenade as a farewell gift for a Lieutenant Colonel who just ended his successful term commanding a battalion in the German Armed Forces.
The design was inspired by this artwork.

This is my first own design. Any feedback and suggestions are appreciated.
Assembly
- The grenade is printed in 3 parts and then glued together with super glue.
- The bookend is printed in its side for stability.
- The grenade loosely fits the bookend.
- Bambu Lab P1S
- 0.4mm nozzle
- Textured PEI Plate
- 0.20mm Standard @BBL X1C profile
- 3 wall loops
- Honeycomb or Gyroid infill
- Tree (auto) support for the large grenade part

- Bookend: Bambu Lab PLA White Marble
