I’m a total noob. After printing a Benchy this was print #2 on my P1S. I don’t know what I don’t know, but at this point I think this turned out great, and pretty fast. I used the green filament that came with my printer. When I decide what colorway I want my accessories to be I will likely reprint this one.

Perfect I had been looking for one for a while to be able to print now in summer inside the Ikea Platsa and be able to leave the door open, thanks for your time and effort on this useful design

Thank you very much for your comment and make. In the images, I've seen that the piece secured with screws to the door is placed upside down, that way the lock does not stay engaged. Please check the images I have posted

works exactly as described! I was tired of my doors flopping around when printing. These fixed that and I like how the lock back against the door when not in use.

I'm glad to hear that it works perfectly for you! It's great that the solution helped keep your doors steady and that you appreciate the locking feature when not in use

Tuned out great. Exactly what I've been looking for to hold the door open and not have to search for a piece everytime. Sanded the finger groove knows down to be compatible with the Biqu status led

this is mother must have! I didn’t realize how creative this little print was until I actually put it on my printer. It locks in the place and becomes flush with the door so that way you can have it on the door without it Interfering with the build plate. And then when you go to have it hold the door open there’s a little slot that it slides into to hold itself stiff in that position. Plus, it looks pretty sleek! Every P1 S printer needs this!

Wow, thanks for the high praise! 'Sleek and functional' is exactly what I was going for. I'm so glad it's become a must-have for your printer!
