This is model is basically a kit. With this Kit you can build all kinds of amino acids. I built L-Glutamine.
L-Glutamine building instructions
print the following
- 17x Bond (preferably black or grey)
- 2x Double Bond (preferably black or grey)
- 10x Atom with 1 hole (preferably in white since it represents Hydrogen)
- 2x Atom with 3 Holes (preferably blue since it represents Nitrogen)
- 2x Atom with 3 Holes (preferably black or grey since it represents Carbon)
- 3x Atom with 4 Holes (preferably black or grey since it represents Carbon)
- 3x Atom with 3 Holes (preferably red since it represents Oxygen)
Assembly
use the 3d visualization provided on this great website and just screw the parts together#
instructions for other amino acids
- choose an amino acid, I recommend this site.
- search for the amino acid here
- print and assemble according to the 3d visualization on the aforementioned site
