Description
Joint protectors for Uniloc quick release pool cues and shafts, found on cues from Predator, Lucasi, Poison, some Tim Scruggs, Samsara, Paul Drexler, Chris Niti, etc. Not for Unliloc Radial joints. The slight hourglass shapes aid in easy removal of your shaft or cue from tight fitting cases. Print profile has PETG on one plate, and TPU on a second plate, but I've also printed these in ASA and PA with good results. I do not recommend PLA as it's too brittle and the threads could snap off inside the shaft or cue if you over tighten. After using these for a few weeks, I've found I like the TPU best, even though it's not as neat or clean looking as other materials. The softness and crazy good layer adhesion just make it the best choice IMO. The male cap has a 21.5mm diameter, just a hair larger than most shafts at the joint. The female has an outer lip that provides better protection for the edge.
