Description

V2.0 is now available for printing!!!

A really sturdy Skädis mount for your DC18RC charger.

STEP and F3Z files are attached if anyone wants to play with the design, minimise it, enforce it or anything really. I find the current design stable and sturdy without any wiggle room once placed on the board.

I didn't like the fact that is a solid, so I remixed it a Fusion to save some plastic and printing time. Works great! But I think you should mention that you don't need to unscrew anything cause I did the same as the other commenter :D

You wouldn't be able to make a remix that fits the Makita DC18RD

Could you upload the print profile, I actually love the idea of minimising the filament usage!

looks really good 👍 It would be nice if you added 4 holes that match the rubber feet's. that way they are always there when you need them

Which part broke if I may ask?

I suggest maybe filling the sides of the hooks a bit, some Skadis boards are a bit tighter than others even though I haven't encountered any issues other than slowly pushing it in while nothing broke...

Didn’t quite fit my version of the charger but after some adjustment I got it to fit

How's that, could you send me pictures of the charger's back and I'll look into it. You happen to be the second person who's had issues with this mount. I know it's meant for the exact DC18RC seen on the picture but maybe they revised the mount holes or something.

Sure thing mate, I just need the measurements of the charger as seen on the last picture (8th) picture, since I don't own one myself.
