Description

Baseball cap adapter for an Oticon Ponto 5 Mini Bone Conduction Hearing Aid designed to be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle only.

The straps that come with these aren't the best looking things so I wanted to design some mounts that work with more normal headwear. This baseball cap adapter is a two piece construction designed to clamp together through the cap's material with M2 hardware.

This will require creating 3 holes in the hat! Please use care.

The shape of the mount is tricky to print but the orientation given in this file gives the best balance between printability and strength. Some tidy up will be required following support removal, again please be careful.

The pieces join together with M2 nuts and bolts. Hexes are provided to sink the nuts in to make them flush, bolt length will depend on cap material thickness but I find either 6 or 8mm ones work ok.

These devices are expensive, please make sure to use the tether that comes with them in case something goes wrong. I will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your hearing aid.
